Taking care of our community one child at a time
The Carver Center Early Childcare Program
The Carver Center Early Childcare Program provides a nurturing and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
The Carver Center’s Early Childcare Program is proud to offer comprehensive services through the Illinois State Board of Education's Preschool for All and Prevention Initiative programs.
Our licensed facility focuses on physical, cognitive, and social development through age-appropriate learning activities. We ensure each child receives high-quality early education. Families also benefit from resources in health, job skills, and mental wellness, making Carver Center a cornerstone of early childhood education in Peoria.
The Prevention Initiative serves children from birth to age 3, focusing on early development and learning. Through individualized care, developmental screenings, and family-centered support, we help foster physical, emotional, and cognitive growth during a child's most formative years. We also provide resources for parents, including workshops on early childhood development, job skills, and family wellness, ensuring a holistic approach to both child and family development.
The Preschool for All program supports children ages 3 to 5, preparing them for success in kindergarten and beyond. Through a curriculum aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards, children engage in hands-on learning experiences that promote literacy, math, social skills, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, regular assessments help track progress and ensure that children are meeting key developmental milestones.
Together, these programs provide a strong foundation for school readiness while offering families the tools and support they need to thrive.
