The Carver Center Early Childcare Program

MISSION STATEMENT - The George Washington Carver Early Childcare Program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children to discover, wonder, and grow while enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Skills USA Training

With SkillsUSA, students will get technical training & instruction in skills that are in need today, as well as learn how to be well-rounded workers & citizens.

Virtual Learning Preschool

An Early Childhood learning experience designed to prepare children for success in kindergarten.

CFCI Awarded Carver Surprise Grant

May 30, 2025 - In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, the Community Foundation of Central Illinois (CFCI) awarded twelve unrestricted grants to the original 1989–1990 grantees of the Peoria Area Community Foundation (PACF)! The Carver Center was honored to receive the surprise grant during their 2025 Annual Meeting.

Award Recipients with Carver CEO at Winter Wonderland Fundraising Event

January 11, 2025 - The Carver Center held its annual Winter Wonderland fundraising event and dinner on Saturday, January 11, 2025. This year's theme, "A Starry Night," symbolized the guiding light that supporters and sponsors provide to the Carver community.

UICOMP Community Health Award Honors The Carver Center

October 24, 2024 - UICOMP (University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria) presented The Carver Center with the 2024 Community Health Award in the organization category.
